Whether the thickness of the head spinning is the same as the thickness of the cylinder mainly depends on the pressure range of the equipment. For example, in equipment with low pressure, your cylinder is 3mm, but because there is nothing pressure, then the head can be made of 2mm material.
However, when the thickness of the head and the cylinder are different, the problem that must be paid attention to is how to weld. If the thickness is different, the circumference will definitely be different, so when you order the head from the manufacturer, be sure to explain, your situation.
And the thickness of the head and the cylinder are different, what should we pay attention to?
The two thicknesses are different, which leads to their different outer diameters, and it is difficult to weld, so we can change the size of the head or the size of the barrel, so that the equipment can be welded very flat.
For any head size with a diameter of more than 1200, the spinning process can be used to spin the outer circumference of the head to correspond to the cylinder; but the size of the head below 1200 is smaller, and the appearance after spinning is not good. In this case, if the thickness of the head and the cylinder are not the same, it is necessary to make the circumference consistent with the outer circumference of the head when rolling the cylinder.
Therefore, no matter the thickness of the head spinning and the thickness of the cylinder need to be consistent, it mainly depends on the pressure of the equipment. When it is inconsistent, as long as the perimeter of the two is the same, it will not affect its use.
